The Laguna Department of Education (LDOE) is seeking experienced and qualified firms with $2.2M bonding capacity to submit a bid to perform hazardous materials abatement and/or demolition of 55,153 total square footage of thirteen buildings and associated site work. The scope of work will be completed in two parts: 1) Hazardous materials removal and disposal to a certified landfill. 2) Engineered drawings, demolition, and disposal of thirteen abandoned Laguna elementary school buildings. The project has been funded by a Bureau of Indian Affairs PL 100-297 self-governance grant. The LDOE is responsible for administration the project. A detailed request for bids and scope of work is available upon request. The project procurement will adhere to 2CFR200 federal guidelines. Submittals shall become the property of the LDOE and the content will be kept confidential. Submittals must be received by LDOE by 2:00pm on December 10, 2021. LDOE receives the right to make changes or withdraw this request at their discretion.
