ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sandoval County Public Works Department Invitation for Bid No. FY21-SCPW-01 Cubita Road Concrete Box Culverts and Road Improvements Sandoval County will receive sealed Bids by the Finance Department, Attn: Trish Greene at the Sandoval County Administrative Bldg., 1500 Idalia Road Bldg. D, 2nd Floor, Bernalillo, NM 87004 no later than Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 2:00 P.M., at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Envelopes are to be sealed and plainly marked "Cubita Road Concrete Box Culverts and Road Improvements - Formal Bid No. FY21-SCPW-01". No faxed or electronically transmitted bids nor bids submitted after the above date and time will be considered, and will be returned unopened. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The Project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of roadway, concrete box culverts and associated concrete work, and road improvements as per the Construction Plans prepared by Huitt-Zollars, Inc. The project is located within the Village of Cuba on Cubita Road and Miera Road. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for August 6, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. Prospective bidders should arrive at the intersection of NM 197 and Cubita Road in Cuba, NM. Plans, specifications, Contract Documents and Instructions to Bidders may be obtained from the office of Huitt-Zollars, Inc., 333 Rio Rancho Blvd., Suite 101, Rio Rancho, NM 87124, Telephone (505) 892-5141, for a deposit of $100.00 which will be refunded upon return of the documents within thirty days following the bid opening. Any questions concerning the General and Contractual Conditions of the bid shall be directed to Trish Greene, Senior Procurement Specialist at (505) 404-5873, tgreene@sandovalcountynm.gov. Questions regarding the specifications and scope should be directed to Robert Demeule, Huitt-Zollars Project Engineer at (505) 892-5141, rdemeule@huitt-zollars.com. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond made payable to Sandoval County in the amount of five percent of the total bid amount. The Bid Bond shall be on the form provided in the contract documents, a certified cashier's check or a bid bond in a form acceptable by Sandoval County. Sandoval County (Owner) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to delete portions of bids depending on availability of funds, to waive technicalities, to make any investigations deemed necessary of a bidder's ability to perform the work covered by the specifications and to accept the bid it deems to be in the best interest of the County.
