NOTICE OF INVITATION TO SOLICIT QUALIFIED FIRMS September 2019 New Administration Building For Bisti Fuels Company, L.L.C. Project No. BFC-PROJ-05 The Navajo Transitional Energy Company (NTEC) is the owner of the Navajo Coal Mine, located on the Navajo Nation, 16 miles southwest of Farmington, New Mexico. Bisti Fuels Company, L.L.C. (Bisti Fuels, BFC), a subsidiary of The North American Coal Corporation, and a Disclosed Agent for NTEC, is the contract operator for the Navajo Mine. "Owner" referenced in this document shall refer to: Bisti Fuels, LLC disclosed agent for Navajo Transitional Energy Company (NTEC). Bisti Fuels intends to retain a qualified firm to furnish a turnkey construction project to include all labor, materials, equipment and services required in the delivery, installation, construction and commissioning of a 34,568 square foot modular commercial building. Intended purpose shall be to provide office space for administrative/managerial staff as well as locker/shower facility for hourly mining labor force. Location shall be on the Navajo Mine, 300 County Road 4104, Fruitland, NM 87416, adjacent to the existing administration and maintenance buildings. This Invitation seeks to have interested firms submit their qualifications for the work proposed. Construction Contract: Prospective Bidders will prequalify for the following Work: 1.General Contract (all trades). 2.Modular Building Procurement and Installation. 3.All directly related Building Site Work/Foundation 4.Utilities Interconnection at building location. Owner shall provide hand off. 5.Communications interconnection. Owner shall provide hand off. INTERESTED FIRMS SHALL SUBMIT A LETTER OF INTEREST IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PRE-QUALIFICATION PROCESS A.Upon receipt of letter of interest, Owner will perform the initial research to determine the size and capabilities of the firm making the request. Owner may make such investigations as it deems necessary to determine the ability of the requesting firm to qualify for consideration. Requesting firm shall furnish to Owner all such information for this purpose as Owner may request. Owner reserves the right to deny participation if the evidence submitted by or investigation of requesting firm fails to satisfy the Owner the firm is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the proposed project. The determination of which bidders are prequalified cannot be protested, except as allowed by law. B.All letters of interest are required be mailed/e-mail and received as indicated below.
