NOTICE- Request for Proposal Number: 20 667 3200 0001 TITLE: Remedial Action for the Sunshine Service Station State Lead Site PURPOSE: The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED), through its Petroleum Storage Tank Bureau (PSTB), requests proposals from qualified firms to provide environmental consulting services to conduct investigation and remediation activities in accordance with 20.5 NMAC at the Sunshine Service Station State Lead Site, 45 Highway 3, Ribera, New Mexico, Release ID #3555. The property comprising the former service station includes a residence and a private water supply well. The above ground storage tanks and dispensers that exist at the site are not the source of the petroleum hydrocarbon confirmed release. Specifically, the Contractor will be required to evaluate remedial strategies and propose a remediation plan. Subsequently, the Contractor will be required to develop a technical final remediation plan and implement the selected remedial strategy to reduce dissolved phase petroleum hydrocarbon contamination to promulgated groundwater quality standards, as specified in 20.5.119 NMAC. Activities include, but are not limited to, the design, public notice, installation, operation and optimization of a remediation system, groundwater monitoring, and related reporting.
