Legal Notice of Request for Proposals (RFP) The purpose of the Request for Proposals (RFP) is for the New Mexico Department of Health to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for the procurement of services to provide youth dance and physical activity programs in public elementary, middle and/or high schools within Fiscal Years 2020-2024. The total amount of funding available through this RFP is subject to legislative appropriations, awards of federal funding, and budget approval by the Department of Finance and Administration. Services must be provided in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws. This RFP covers up to a four-year period, contingent upon sufficient funding and satisfactory scope of work performance. No contract term for a professional services contract, including extensions and renewals, shall exceed four years, except as set forth in Section 13-1-150 NMSA 1978. The Department reserves the right to cancel this RFP and/or to reject any proposal in whole or in part. The Procurement Code, Sections 13-1-28 through 13-1-199 NMSA 1978, imposes civil and criminal penalties for its violation. In addition, the New Mexico Criminal Statutes impose felony penalties for illegal bribes, gratuities and kickbacks.
