NOTICE is hereby given that on May 17, 2018 and again on June 8, 2018, Anasazi Trails Water Cooperative, PO Box 157, Placitas, NM, 87043, filed Application No. RG-77562 POD5 with the STATE ENGINEER for a Permit for an Additional Point of Diversion within the Rio Grande Underground Water Basin of the State of New Mexico. The applicant proposes to supplement existing wells RG-77562 (POD1) located at Longitude 10629'34.62"W and Latitude 3519'3.25"N in the NE NW NW of Section 35, Township 13N, Range 4 East, NMPM, RG-77562-S (POD2) located at Longitude 10629'40.89"W and Latitude 3518'49.12"N in the NE SW NW of Section 35, Township 13N, Range 4 East, NMPM, and proposed well RG-77562 POD4 located at Longitude 10631'10.04"W and Latitude 3519'31.99"N in the NE NW SE of Section 28, Township 13N, Range 4 East, NMPM, with the drilling and use of supplemental well RG-77562 POD5 to approximately 900 feet deep with a 6-5/8 inch casing, located approximately at Longitude 10629'34.72"W and Latitude 3519'2.06"N in the NE NW NW of Section 35, Township 13N, Range 4 East, NMPM, within 100 feet of RG-77562 (POD1) for the continued diversion of 8.753 acre-feet per annum for municipal, commercial, subdivision, and domestic uses on 567.66 acres of land within Sections 26, 27, 34 and 35 Township 13 North, Range 4 East, NMPM, in Sandoval County, New Mexico. The wells and place of use are located on land owned by the applicant, and are approximately 2.31 miles east of the intersection of Interstate 25 and U.S. Route 550 in Sandoval County, New Mexico. No new appropriations are requested under this application. Any person, firm or corporation or other entity having standing to file objections or protests shall do so in writing (objection must be legible, signed, and include the writer's complete name, phone number and mailing address). The objection to the approval of the application must be based on: (1) Impairment; if impairment, you must specifically identify your water rights; and/or (2) Public Welfare/Conservation of Water; if public welfare or conservation of water within the state of New Mexico, you must show how you will be substantially and specifically affected. The written protest must be filed, in triplicate, with the State Engineer, 5550 San Antonio Dr. NE, 87109, within ten (10) days after the date of the last publication of this Notice. Facsimiles (505-383-4030) will be accepted as a valid protest as long as the hard copy is hand-delivered or mailed and postmarked within 24-hours of the facsimile. If no valid protest or objection is filed, the State Engineer will evaluate the application in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 72 NMSA 1978.
