ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Project Name: TRUMBULL VILLAGE NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS REHABILITATION Project No. 7002.99 Sealed bids will be received in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Albuquerque at the Plaza del Sol Building, 7th Floor, Room 720, 600 Second Street NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102 for the project described herein no later than 1:30 p.m. local time on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, immediately after which a public opening and reading of bids received will occur. Delivery of bids is the sole responsibility of the Bidder. Following the opening of the bids the bids will be considered and an award of the Contract, if made, will be within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after the Bid Opening. For Instructions to Bidders, bidding forms, and other contract documents, including plans, etc. to be used in connection with the submission of bids ("bidding documents"), the prospective Bidders are invited to contact Academy Reprographics at (505) 821-6666, 8900-N San Mateo NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87113, or the Architect or Engineer listed below. A $75.00 deposit will be required for each set of bidding documents. This deposit is refundable provided the bidding documents are returned in usable condition within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after the Bid Opening. Portions of bidding documents may be purchased at the cost of reproduction. The Bidder's attention is specifically directed to the Instructions to Bidders, Special Provisions and Supplemental Special Provisions contained in the Contract Documents. By submitting a bid, contractor agrees to abide by all provisions of both the Accountability in Government Ordinance (Section 2-10-1 COA) and the Inspector General Ordinance (2-17-1 COA). Work under this Contract is partially funded with federal grant funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The CDBG program is regulated by specific federal laws, program rules and applicable policies; projects awarded CDBG funding are subject to CDBG regulations. A Pre Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 7096, Department of Municipal Development Conference Room, 7th Floor, City/County Building, One Civic Plaza NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference for this project is strongly encouraged but not mandatory to qualify to submit a Bid Proposal. Description of Work: residential street rehabilitation in the Trumbull Village neighborhood bordered by Zuni St. on the north, Pennsylvania St. on the east, Southern Av on the south and Louisiana Blvd on the west. The rehabilitation work includes removal, disposal and replacement of concrete curb & gutter, sidewalk, wheelchair ramps, cold milling of asphalt pavement, placement of asphalt cement, utility regrading (water valves & manholes) and traffic control. There is one additive alternate.
