Respective Proposers: You are invited to submit a proposal for RFP #05212018 UniformService as listed in the attached specifications for the Belen Consolidated Schools in Belen, New Mexico. The intent of the RFP is to solicit qualification proposals from Uniform Rental Providers. The Belen Consolidated Schools intends to select a provider as a result of this RFP. Belen Consolidated Schools is a school district with a current student population around 3,883 students and 700 employees. The district owns and operates approximately 16 schools, administrative and support sites located throughout Valencia County, with one being in Socorro County. The intent of this solicitation is to establish a contract with a qualified and established company or firm to provide our district a uniform rental service. We estimate approximately 65 employees at various sites requiring uniforms (35 custodians, 6 technology persons, 15-20 maintenance personnel, 5 mechanics and 5 warehouse/food service personnel). All employees are year round and 5 days a week* (summer hours may change to a 4 day work-week). Uniform Service This proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Belen Consolidated Schools Administrative Office at 520 N. Main Street, Belen, NM 87002, before 2:00 p.m., May 17, 2018. Mark the outside of the envelope "Uniform Service". Bids received after 2:00 p.m., May 17, 2018 will be marked non-responsive and will not be considered. (Proposal will be returned to the company unopened.) Fax bids are not accepted. BCS is not liable for any costs incurred by any person or company responding to this RFP.
