Request for Proposals (RFP) The Pueblo of Santa Ana is soliciting environmental remediation firms for contractual work completing the surface clearance of a formerly used defense site on Pueblo lands. The project is managed through a cooperative agreement between the U.S. Department of Defense and the Pueblo of Santa Ana under the Native American Lands Environmental Mitigation Program (NALEMP). The scope of work includes removal and safe disposal of munitions debris and munitions of explosive concern at one WW2-era practice bombing range as well as related archeological surveying. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will occur on September 28th from 10 a.m. to noon at The Pueblo of Santa Ana Department of Natural Resources, 02 Dove Rd, Santa Ana Pueblo, NM 87004. To receive a copy of the RFP document including proposal requirements, meeting details, and submission instructions, please e-mail Maxine Paul, Environmental Program Manager at maxine.paul@santaana-nsn.gov with the subject line "NALEMP RFP". Proposals are due by October 21st, 2016. Firms with prior NALEMP experience are encouraged to apply.
