REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP No. 2009-W02 Anzac Water Well #7 & Well #8 Pueblo of Acoma PUBLIC NOTICE - The Pueblo of Acoma is requesting for proposals from Indian-owned and non-Indian-owned firms to construct two (2) water supply wells for the Pueblo of Acoma. Sealed BIDS for construction of the Pueblo of Acoma Anzac Well #7 and Well #8 will be received by the Pueblo of Acoma at the Tribal Administration Office until 1:00 P.M. (local time), Thursday, February 26, 2009 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. PROJECT DESCRIPTION - This project includes the drilling and completion of two water supply wells for the Pueblo of Acoma. The work covered by this bid solicitation includes: furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and services required for drilling, geophysical logging, installation of well casing and screening, gravel packing, well developing, test pumping, water quality sampling, pitless unit installation, and site restoration for two community water supply wells. The wells will be drilled to an approximate depth of 1,100 feet and shall have an 8 inch diameter casing. PROPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS - Copies of the BIDDING DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the Pueblo of Acoma Planning & Engineering Office upon payment of $50.00 for each set. Copies of the BIDDING DOCUMENTS may also be obtained at Albuquerque Reprographics, 4716 McLeod NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, (505) 884-0862 upon payment of a deposit of $50.00. Payment will be fully refunded to each document holder of record who returns a complete set of BIDDING DOCUMENTS in good condition within 30 day of opening of Bids. Any proposals received after the time and date deadline will be returned unopened. The Pueblo of Acoma gives Indian preference and reserves the right to reject any and all proposals when not complete or non-responsive. Use of the USPS is at your own risk. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Pueblo of Acoma, located at the Tribal Administration Office on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 10:00am. Journal: February 2-8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 2009.
