NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID THE CITY OF ROSWELL Roswell Museum & Art Center Courtyard Project: ITB-09-106 The City of Roswell requests sealed bids until 2:00 P.M., February 24, 2008 in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 425 N. Richardson, Roswell, New Mexico, for the following project located in Roswell, New Mexico: Roswell Museum & Art Center Courtyard Project ITB-09-106 This project consists of a renovation and addition to an existing courtyard including specialty and structural concrete, walls, fences and gates, landscape, irrigation and lighting improvements. Complete copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained in Roswell from the office of the City of Roswell Purchasing Director, 425 N. Richardson Ave., P.O. Box 1838, Roswell, New Mexico, 88202-1838 and in Albuquerque from Morrow Reardon Wilkinson Miller, Ltd. 210 La Veta NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87108 for a deposit of $50.00. Any shipping or mailing costs will be the responsibility of the respective bidder. This deposit is refundable provided the bidding documents are returned in usable condition within ten (10) business days after the bid opening. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit will be held on February 17th, 2009 at 11:00 am, local time, at The Roswell Museum and Art Center, 100 West 11th Street, Roswell, NM. It is the policy of the City of Roswell to comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act in employment or provision of services. Submission of a bid proposal shall be deemed by the City as a Certification of Compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act by the bidder. Section 13-1-196 of the New Mexico Procurement Code, NMSA 1978, imposes civil and criminal penalties for its violation. In addition, the New Mexico Criminal Statutes impose felony penalties for illegal bribes, and gratuities. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or Bids, to waive technicalities, to make any investigation deemed necessary of a Bidder's ability to perform the work covered by the Specifications, and to accept what in the judgement of the Owner is the best bid. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
