PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Rio Metro Regional Transit District is developing grant applications for federal assistance from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) of the U. S. Department of Transportation for 49 U.S.C. Section 5307 funding for the following projects: NMRX Preventative Maintenance, Security and Equipment/Transit Operations (TA00390) Federal Funds: $9,607,323 (80%), Local Funds: $2,258,581 (20%), Total Funds: $11,865,904 Community Transportation Services- Job Access (TA00327) Federal Funds: $191,000 (50%), Local Funds $191,000, Total Funds $382,000 These projects have been reviewed and publically vetted through the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), the locally adopted transportation planning process, which has provided an opportunity for a public hearing. Copies of the grant application will be available for review and submission of written comments and requests for a public hearing will be received through July 6th, 2020, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the offices of Rio Metro Regional Transit District, 809 Copper NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Interested persons and/or agencies hereby are provided an opportunity to comment with respect to the social and economic impacts of the grant applications.
