Request for Proposals Audit Services The Jicarilla Apache Housing Authority (JAHA) is accepting written proposals from qualified certified public accountants or certified public accounting firms for the provision of audit services as described in this Request for Proposal (RFP). The selected proposer, who will be performing the audit services, must present JAHA with proof of licensure as certified public accountants in good standing in the licensing state. Public Notice The New Mexico Environment Department (Department) has received an application for a radioactive material license amendment from KLX Energy Services for storage and use of radioactive materials at 7904 South Eunice Hwy, Hobbs, NM 88240. During the early part of the evaluation period, the Department will review and comment upon the application. The Department may, at its discretion, retain consultants to assist in its evaluation of the application. Relevant comments and questions received by the Department from various agencies and interested parties will be forwarded to the applicant for response. Correspondence associated with the application will be on file with the Radiation Control Bureau and will be available for inspection by the applicant and any other interested parties. The Department has required the company to provide complete plans and other materials concerning, among other things, the public health, safety and environmental aspects of the proposed facility. The Department will analyze the license application carefully. During this analysis, the application will be reviewed to ensure that there are no deficiencies, that the application meets all applicable requirements and that there is no reason to believe that the operation will violate any laws or regulations. If the Department is so satisfied, it will issue a renewable Radioactive Material License to expire in five years. The activities of all licensees are inspected periodically to assure compliance with regulations and license conditions. Aviso pblico El Departamento del Medio Ambiente de Nuevo Mxico (Departamento) ha recibido una solicitud de licencia para materiales radioactivos de parte de KLX Energy Services para el almacenamiento y el uso de materiales radioactivos en 7904 South Eunice Hwy, Hobbs, NM 88240. Durante la primera parte del perodo de evaluacin, el Departamento examinar la solicitud y emitir sus comentarios. El Departamento podr, a su criterio, contratar a consultores para ayudar en su evaluacin de la solicitud. Los comentarios y las preguntas pertinentes que el Departamento reciba de diferentes agencias y partes interesadas sern enviados al solicitante para que emita una respuesta. La correspondencia asociada a la solicitud estar archivada en la Oficina de Control de la Radiacin y a disposicin del solicitante y de cualquier otra parte interesada para su inspeccin.
