CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FROM ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS FOR BEAR CANYON ARROYO TRAIL, I-25 TO WYOMING PROJECT NO. 7392.03 PROPOSALS DUE: JUNE 17, 2009 Proposals from professional Engineering firms or persons to provide professional services for the above project will be received until 3:00 p.m. on the date shown above, at the Selection Advisory Committee Office, Capital Implementation Program (CIP) Division Office, One Civic Plaza, 7th Floor, Room 7057, Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Government Center, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Project Description: The scope of work will include preparation of environmental studies, preliminary and final design plans, work related to the acquisition of right-of-way which is expected to be a substantial work effort with this project, construction bid documents, construction phase basic services (if required) and other associated services related to the construction of a multi-purpose trail located generally along the alignment of Osuna Road and the Bear Canyon Arroyo between Interstate 25 and Wyoming Boulevard. The major roadway crossings of San Mateo Boulevard and Wyoming Boulevard are assumed for this project to be at-grade crossings. However both of these crossings are envisioned to be grade separated in the future. All design, right-of-way and construction services must comply with applicable New Mexico Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration requirements to qualify for federal funding assistance.
