SECTION 1 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Alamogordo at 1376 E. Ninth Street, Alamogordo, New Mexico, 88310, for the construction of the Project known as "S. FLORIDA AVENUE WATERLINE REPLACEMENT, ADA IMPROVEMENTS AND STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, Public Works Bid No. 2009-003", until 2:00 pm (MST), TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2009, at which time the Bid Opening and reading of the Bids received will begin in the Community Development Conference Room at 1376 E. Ninth Street. The tabulation of Bids will be considered by the City Commission of the City of Alamogordo at its next regular meeting, or at a later meeting if required. The Work will consist of constructing a 12-inch water line, water connections, new water services and fire hydrants, ARV valve, 42- inch, 24-inch and 18-inch diameter CMP storm sewer system, storm sewer concrete junction boxes, concrete drop inlets with metal grates, concrete trench drain with metal grates, concrete accessible (ADA) ramps, concrete drive aprons, curb and gutter, pavement patch, earthwork, pavement work, and traffic control, all with-in the city limits of Alamogordo, New Mexico.
