REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS 2009-05-OSE The New Mexico Office of the State Engineer requests qualification based proposals from individuals or firms to perform the annual financial and compliance audit of the Agency for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009, with the option to renew the contract for up to three additional subsequent fiscal years. The audits are to be performed in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), the standards set forth for financial audits in the U.S. General Accountings Office's (GAO) Government Auditing Standards, the provisions of the Federal Single Audit Act, Amendments of 1996 and Applicable Federal OMB Circulars, Audits of State and Local Governments. Audits must comply with the New Mexico State Auditor's Rule 2.2.2 NMAC, Regulations Governing the Audits of Agencies of the State of New Mexico. All proposals submitted shall be valid for ninety- (90) days subject to all action by the Agency.
