REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES The Zuni Tribe is requesting qualifications-based competitive sealed proposals for engineering services for planning, design and construction documents for Water and Wastewater Infrastructure for Zuni Commercial Development Area. Scope of work and format may be obtained by contacting Pueblo of Zuni Purchasing Office, Procurement Specialist, at (505) 782-7092, Post Office Box 339, 1203 - B Highway 53, Zuni, New Mexico 87327. Proposals may be mailed or hand delivered and time stamped by the Procurement Specialist, Zuni Purchasing Office no later than 2:00 PM on March 13, 2009. NOTICE FOR PUBLICATION: Grounded & Polite, LLC, via its attorney, Michelle Henrie, 201 Third St. NW, Ste. 1850, Albuquerque, NM, 87102, hereby gives notice pursuant to NMSA 1978 72-12-26 of its intention to appropriate non-potable groundwater at depths greater than 2,500 feet. The well(s) to be drilled would be located within a 1,000 foot radius of the following location in Bernalillo County on land owned by the New Mexico State Land Office: SW1/4SW1/4 Section14 Township 9 North Range 3 East, 40 acres, UTM coordinates: 353,824.131 Easting, 3,874,463.382 Northing NAD 83. The amount of water to be diverted from the wells is up to 15,000 acre-feet per annum. The purposes of use include domestic, irrigation, municipal, industrial, and commercial use. The place of use is all lands owned by the New Mexico State Land Office in Bernalillo County, New Mexico and any areas within Bernalillo, Valencia, and Socorro Counties that are situated within the geographic boundaries of the Rio Grande Basin in New Mexico. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Professional Engineering services proposals will be received by the Pueblo of Laguna, Tribal Engineering Department at P. O. Box 194, Laguna, New Mexico 87026 (Phone: (505) 552-1200) at 3:30 p.m. local time March 4, 2009, for the following scope of services: Design, Construction drawings & Estimate and Engineering Support for Laguna Route L50, Santa Fe Trail Road; consisting of rural road, pavement, shoulders and drive entrances improvements at a total length of 1.3 miles (approximately) located on the Laguna Indian Reservation. The scope of professional services consists of several phases, compliant to Federal Government requirements, which include but not limited to: Preliminary Engineering Report, Design Concepts, Design Survey, Data Acquisition & Evaluation, Rights-of-Way drawings and P.S. & E. In addition, the Professional Engineering firm shall provide all design calculations and other documentation as may be required to accommodate compliance to 25 CFR Part 170, Appendix B to Subpart D, Design Standards for IRR Program. Interested firms shall contact the Department of Public Works - Tribal Engineering Program to obtain information on the Proposal format and other detailed information. SECTION 1 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the City of Alamogordo at 2600 N. Florida Ave., Alamogordo, New Mexico, 88310, for the construction of the project known as OTERO/LINCOLN COUNTY REGIONAL LANDFILL - CELL #4 CONSTRUCTION, Public Works Bid No. 2009-004, until 2:00 p.m., March 17, 2009, at which time the opening and reading of the bids received will begin in the Public Works Admin. Conference Room at 2600 N. Florida Ave. The tabulation of bids will be considered by the City Commission of the City of Alamogordo at its next regular meeting, or at a later meeting if required. The work will consist of fine grading of the existing subgrade as well as providing, placing, and testing the HDPE geomembrane liner associated with the construction of Cell #4. Copies of the Specifications are available to Bidders from the Purchasing Department, City of Alamogordo, 2600 N.
