LEGAL NOTICE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP NUMBER 11-790-1000-0002 The State of New Mexico Department of Public Safety (DPS) is requesting proposals in response to an RFP for qualified firms of certified public accountants to perform the annual financial and compliance audit of the Agency for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010. The purpose of this RFP is to select and contract with qualified vendor(s) from the offeror(s) who respond to the RFP. This RFP is an invitation to provide services to the DPS; DPS reserves the right to cancel this RFP and/or to reject any proposal in whole or in part. The proposed contract for FY 2011 shall become effective upon approval of the Department of Finance and Administration and may be effective for one to three years at the discretion of the DPS. The term is contingent upon needs of the DPS and satisfactory performance.
